Surprise! Another doll is officially joining the group this week- my very first equine/ungulate!
This is Splash, and he was actually a very special birthday commission doll for Lauren McNiff. This one of a kind posable doll is modeled and styled to look just like her real-life horse companion, unique markings and all. As well as being my first horse doll, Splash was also my first pet commission, and I hope to immortalize more beloved family pets and companions as art dolls in the near future! He is made from sculpey, plastic ball and socket armature, wire, rubber, foam, velvety faux fur, acrylic paint, and sculpy glaze.
